The Pleasant Park School Council Fundraising Campaign for an Outdoor Classroom

Consultations with our students, staff, parents, guardians, and the school board (OCDSB) have convinced us to start a campaign in order to obtain a fully accessible outdoor classroom structure on the schoolyard at Pleasant Park Public School.

The OCDSB offers schools the opportunity to install a customizable structure with optional log/rock seating, picnic tables, blackboard and storage. This outdoor classroom will seat a class of 30 students and requires us to fundraise between $50,000-$60,000 for purchase and installation.

The school council is applying for grants to help subsidize the cost of the classroom. To reach our fundraising goal, we also need the support of our Pleasant Park families, friends, alumni, neighbours and local businesses. So please help us by making a donation and sharing this website widely with anyone who may be interested in making a donation.
